Every divorce starts as a love story. So what makes people stay together?

We’re building a dating app that pairs people using psychological research and relationship science rather than proximity and photos. Before it goes live to real people, we’re running a study to make sure the predictors hold up.

Who
Couples in a long-term relationship or marriage, living in the US, at least 25 years old. Both partners must participate to qualify.
Covers
Your experience in past relationships, satisfaction in your current one, and the core beliefs and characteristics that make you you.
Privacy
Confidential and de-identified. Voluntary participation, withdraw at any point.

Invitation and informed consent

You are invited to participate in a research study that explores how compatibility impacts satisfaction and longevity in romantic relationships. Your responses would test whether a compatibility model pairing people using validated relationship science holds up under real conditions.

Scope and commitment

15 minutes to complete on average. Questions address your experience in past relationships, satisfaction in your current relationship, and core beliefs and personal characteristics that make you you.

Confidentiality and data privacy

Responses are confidential and de-identified. Your response data will be stored securely and your name will not be associated with any research findings.

Voluntary participation

Your participation in this survey is voluntary. If you agree to participate, you are free to withdraw at any point. If you choose to withdraw, your partial responses will be discarded.

Risks and benefits

Survey questions involve reflecting on your personal experiences in romantic relationships, which may be triggering, depending on your background. You can skip anything causing distress.

Couples in a long-term relationship or marriage living in the US. Must be at least 25 years old. Both partners must participate in this study to qualify.
